Today’s entertainment production is booming! Unprecedented spending is anticipated to reach $759 billion in the US and $2.2 trillion globally by 2021—and with a shortage of studio facilities, demand is exceeding supply. Streaming services, big studios and networks alike are all competing for space to create content.
The MBS Group is working to meet that demand, in close partnership with its parent company, Hackman Capital Partners, the largest owner and operator of independent studio properties.

Hackman Capital Partners, The MBS Group’s parent company, is the largest independent owner/operator of studio properties, with more than 70 soundstages and an additional 35 planned for development. It’s nine studio facilities total more than five million square feet and are located in top production markets, from Los Angeles to New York.
Training Programs
The MBS Group works with studios, schools and other organizations to provide comprehensive and customized training. Programs center on refining the job skills required in key areas of film and television production, including cinematography and photography, lighting, grip, set and production design, production management and production safety. Classes are taught by working industry professionals and can range from broad overviews of production processes to immersive technical training.
